WrapJax Is Taking AI-Powered Custom Boat Wrap Design Nationwide.

A new way for boat owners across the Continental United States to imagine, create and purchase a custom boat wrap—starting with an idea and ending with a professionally produced wrap ready for installation.

TACOMA, WASHINGTON — WrapJax is excited to announce the upcoming launch of BoatWraps.ai, a new addition to the WrapJax family of businesses and the next step in our effort to make professionally designed custom wraps more accessible to customers throughout the country.

Launching in the coming months, BoatWraps.ai will introduce a different approach to buying a custom boat wrap.

Instead of beginning the process with a designer trying to interpret what a customer has in mind, boat owners will be able to use the AI platform of their choice to begin exploring the look themselves.

Create an idea. Experiment with colors. Try different graphics. Upload photographs of your boat. Explore something conservative—or something completely unexpected.

AI becomes the sketchbook.

But it isn't the finished product.

And that distinction is at the heart of BoatWraps.ai.

FROM AI CONCEPT TO A WRAP THAT ACTUALLY FITS

AI has made it remarkably easy to visualize what a boat could look like. What it doesn't automatically understand is how that design needs to be constructed, scaled and produced for the actual boat sitting in someone's driveway, marina or storage facility.

That's where the WrapJax team comes in.

Customers will be able to submit their AI-generated concept to BoatWraps.ai along with information, photographs and measurements of their actual boat. Our in-house design and production team will then use that concept as the creative direction for developing production-ready artwork specifically fitted to the customer's vessel.

This is an important difference.

We're not simply printing an AI-generated picture and hoping it fits.

We're taking the customer's idea and turning it into something that can actually become a boat wrap.

YOUR BOAT DOESN'T NEED TO BE IN WASHINGTON

Perhaps the most exciting part of BoatWraps.ai is that it changes the geographic limitations traditionally associated with working with a wrap company.

WrapJax has spent years serving customers throughout Western Washington from our locations in Tacoma, Woodinville and Silverdale.

BoatWraps.ai is being built to cast a much wider net.

Our initial goal is to serve boat owners throughout the Continental United States.

That means a customer won't necessarily need to bring their boat to a WrapJax facility to have a WrapJax-produced boat wrap.

Once the artwork has been finalized, the wrap can be professionally printed, prepared and shipped directly to the customer.

From there, customers will have two paths.

Experienced owners and installers may choose a DIY installation, while customers who would prefer professional installation will be able to select from a nationwide network of certified installers.

The design and production can happen here.

The installation can happen there.

HOW DO YOU DESIGN A WRAP FOR A BOAT THAT IS 2,000 MILES AWAY?

Measurements.

And photographs.

A lot of thought has gone into making that part of the process understandable for someone who doesn't measure boats for a living.

The BoatWraps.ai measurement system focuses on the dimensions that actually matter when determining material requirements and translating artwork onto a real hull.

For example, rather than simply asking for the manufacturer's published overall dimensions, our measurement guide asks customers to measure the actual surface that will be wrapped.

For the sides of the boat, customers measure from the bottom edge of the rub rail down to the natural waterline at several locations—including the front, the tallest portion of the hull and the rear. Overall side length is measured along the rub rail from the very front to the very back, following the boat's actual curvature rather than simply measuring a straight line from bow to stern.

There's a reason for that level of detail.

Boats aren't rectangles.

The measurement guide also explains that wrap material is produced in 60-inch-wide rolls, making the maximum hull height one of the most important measurements for determining material usage and overall project cost. BOATWRAPSAI-Boat-Wrap-Measurmen…

Optional transom measurements can be supplied when the rear of the boat will be wrapped as well.

And photographs help complete the picture.

We request clear side photographs of both the port and starboard sides, along with a straight-on photograph of the transom and, when applicable, the bow. Combined with accurate measurements, these images give our team the information needed to evaluate the boat and begin translating a digital concept into real-world graphics.

It's a surprisingly simple process for the customer—but there is a lot happening behind the scenes.

AI STARTS THE CONVERSATION. PEOPLE FINISH THE JOB.

That may ultimately be the best way to describe what we're building.

BoatWraps.ai isn't about replacing professional designers with artificial intelligence.

It's about giving customers a much better way to communicate with them.

For years, one of the hardest parts of custom design has been explaining an idea that exists only in someone's imagination.

"I want something kind of like this..."

"Maybe blue, but not that blue..."

"I want it aggressive, but still clean..."

"I can picture it—I just don't know how to explain it."

AI changes that conversation.

Now a customer can experiment until they create something that communicates the direction, personality, colors and overall aesthetic they're looking for.

Then our designers can take over.

Rather than starting with a blank screen, they're starting with a visual conversation.

THINK IT. CREATE IT. WE'LL HELP MAKE IT REAL.

BoatWraps.ai represents something larger than simply launching another website.

It's part of a broader direction for the WrapJax family of businesses—combining emerging AI tools with nearly two decades of experience designing, printing and installing wraps in the real world.

Technology can make the creative process easier.

The internet can eliminate geographic boundaries.

But professional design, proper measurements, quality materials, experienced production and skilled installation still matter.

BoatWraps.ai is designed to bring those pieces together.

Whether your boat is sitting on a trailer in Washington, Florida, Texas, Michigan or somewhere in between, soon you'll be able to start with an idea on your screen and turn it into something you can see on the water.
